HBO has released a trailer for another movie that will feature the tragic Conrad Roy-Michelle Carter story.

HBO says the documentary will be a two-part story that "follows the suicide by text case of Michelle Carter whose behavior led to the involuntary manslaughter of boyfriend Conrad Roy."

This isn't the first time the story has been featured on network television. Lifetime also produced a made-for-TV movie starring Bella Thorne.

The new I Love You, Now Die trailer features picturesque shots of Mattapoisett's Town Beach and the New Bedford waterfront.

Local reaction about the coverage has been mixed, leaving some that were close to the case wondering the necessity of making the painful story into a movie or documentary.

Conrad Roy was a Mattapoisett resident and a recent graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School. He took his own life in the parking lot behind the former Kmart in Fairhaven.
