Gazelle Saves Woman’s Life On Saco River, Maine [VIDEO]
It's a bird, it's a plane... It's Gazelle to the rescue!
For all who have wandered into the Saco River wilderness understands that it's not for the faint of heart.
On July 16th, 2016 around 1 PM, a group of friends and myself pull off to the side and rested on the river bank. An old, frayed and very worn rope swing was dangling in front of us, enticing the group to take a swing.... We should have known that something was going to go terribly wrong.
As we took turns making a leap of faith outwards over the river, we noticed one girl in the group take grab of the rope and prep herself. Long story short... there was no way it was expected to go well at all.
As the ground underneath collapsed from the 11 foot drop off, I quickly rushed to her and cradled her underneath as I dragged her to a soft landing in the water. It's safe to say that we are both safe and everyone learned a valuable lesson. SACCCOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
