‘Game of Thrones’ Theme Taking Over Boston Restaurant
Can you believe we’ve gone almost a year and a half without Game of Thrones? And we still have to make it to April before we can reunite with the Starks and Daenerys Targaryen. Luckily, a Boston restaurant wants to help us get our fix by recreating the land of Westeros on their patio.
Winter is Coming to Precinct Kitchen + Bar. They created this pop-up to include specialty drinks and dishes to be served from Friday, January 11 to Saturday, February 2. They will be open from 4 to 11 pm. Three famous houses will be represented: Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen. The bar will even provide furs for guests to wear while dining to complete the experience.
Sip on one of the cocktails that were inspired by characters from the show like the “Dracarys,” or “Cersei’s Poison."
Order the “Little Fingers,” which are garlic bread grilled cheese sandwiches served with Chipotle ranch sauce. If you feel like sharing with a friend, consider ordering “The Mountain,” which is a 32-ounce Tomahawk ribeye for two that comes with grilled white asparagus, fondant potatoes, and red chimichurri sauce.
According to Boston.com, “guests can keep the theme going with an overnight stay in the Night King room at Loews Boston Hotel. The room will be available for the duration of the pop-up for $359 per night, with themed decor that includes crow and raven figurines, specialty mugs and glassware, and a faux fur robe.”
Precinct Kitchen + Bar is located at 154 Berkeley St., in Boston.
