Fun 107’s Teacher Of The Month Is Winslow Elementary’s Mrs. Costa!

A big congratulations going out to Mrs. Costa at the Winslow Elementary School in New Bedford, she is FUN 107's Teacher of the Month!

Mrs. Costa teaches 2nd grade at the Winslow School and a parent of one of her students, Isabelle, wrote in to FUN 107 to nominate her for being a great teacher. Here are some of the wonderful things that were said in Mrs. Costa's nomination:

"Mrs. Costa came into our lives in September and she is amazing. She is so good with my daughter."

 "I wish there was a way that she could mentor all the teachers in America on how to handle children with disabilities."

"She is so patient and is a lot of fun, yet makes sure the children get their work done."

"She takes care of the children like they are her own, and she makes them feel comfortable."

Mrs. Costa was awarded with a beautiful arrangement from Treeland Florist and Greenhouses, a nice gift from Bank Five, and a pizza party for all of her students thanks to Domino's!

Great job Mrs. Costa! We want to say congratulations, on behalf of FUN 107, Bank Five, Treeland Florist and Greenhouses, and Domino's Pizza, and say thank you for being such a great teacher to our kids here on the Southcoast!
