Our kids may never know what a "drive-in" movie theater is but that doesn't mean they can't experience the joy of an outdoor movie.  Across the Southcoast region, cities and towns are hosting their own outdoor movie series for residents.  Some are in shopping centers, others are in parks and school fields but they all have one thing in common- they are sure to create memories to last a lifetime for your family.

It's not easy to pull off these large outdoor movie events but with the help of sponsors and donations, groups like the Wareham Crossing, Fall River Neighborhood Associations and the Friends of Buttonwood Park are hoping to generate enough financial support and interest to make these a permanent part of summertime on the Southcoast.

Most movies will start at sundown, which depending on what month, can be between 8 and 8:30pm.  If you're into mass viewings of family-classics, here is a complete list when and where your favorites will be playing:
