Frank Pepe Pizzeria Sets Opening Date For Warwick Location

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana and it's legendary pies are coming to Warwick very soon!

Back in January we learned that Frank Pepe's, the legendary pizzeria originally out of New Haven, CT, would be expanding to its first Rhode Island location.

And now we know that the Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in Warwick will officially open on May 14th.

Rhode Island Monthly was the first to break the news of the opening date, after attending the blessing of the oven at the pizzeria's 10th location.

The coal-fired brick oven is the staple of each and every Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana location and they take about 10 weeks to build.

Every one is designed after the original 1925 oven in the first New Haven location and after they are first lit, they take weeks to heat up properly before pizza can be made in them.

Clearly they take their pizza very seriously at Frank Pepe's!

And you can soon take it to go or eat in at the new Warwick location just off Route 2 in the plaza on Universal Blvd next to Red Wings Shoes.
