Massachusetts is set to receive its 20th Chick-fil-A location when the fast-food giant opens its doors in Foxboro.

The popular fast-food joint, known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, is coming to Foxboro’s Patriot Place.

Hold your horses, though. Here is what to expect from the newest location and when its opening date will be.

Chick-fil-A Is Coming to Patriot Place

According to a news release, the fast-food spot will be located within retail parking lot 19 on the south side of Gillette Stadium. It will feature a double-lane drive-thru, indoor seating, and an exterior dining patio.

Will Chick-fil-A be Open on Sundays at Patriot Place?

It’s long been known that, due to company policy, Chick-fil-A remains closed on Sundays.

They will not be making an exception for Patriot Place, so if you’re craving some chicken while you tailgate for a Sunday game, you better bring your own meat for the grille.

When Will Chick-Fil-A Open at Patriot Place?

According to Patriot Place’s announcement on Facebook, Chick-fil-A lovers can get their fix in 2026.

"We are beyond thrilled to announce the addition of Chick-fil-A and officially welcome them to Patriot Place," Brian Early, vice president and general manager of Patriot Place, said in a statement. "Chick-fil-A’s commitment to customer service and hospitality paired with their delicious and fresh food, including their signature chicken sandwich, makes this locally owned restaurant an incredible addition to Patriot Place.”

Having a fast-food spot come to Patriot Place and not be open on Sundays feels like a missed opportunity. Still, the shopping facility surrounding Gillette is a great destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment all year round.

The newest addition to Patriot Place offers a more casual way of dining, and it will be serving all of your favorites in 2026.
