Fort Phoenix Is Hosting a Pirates And Privateers Show

The kids will love this interactive presentation on Friday!

Graybeard & Abby will be at Fort Phoenix, Fairhaven, MA Friday from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. telling tales of pirates and the Revolutionary War privateers. This event will be happening through September, so there are a bunch of chances to see these presentations.

You and the kids will learn about Nathaniel Pope and Noah Stoddard or the privateer Scammel during the Revolutions first naval battle and capturing of Lunenberg, Noca Scotia.The ship doctor, Abby, will be able to tell you all about herbs, leeches, amputations, and smoke enemas. Another interesting part of this event is the swivel cannon that will be loaded and fired!
