Food For Tots 2019 Kicks Off Today in Fairhaven

Today is the day we've been waiting for here at Fun 107. Our Food For Tots 2019 tour kicks off in Fairhaven. Today is your chance to help all children here on the SouthCoast simply by going out to eat at the most popular restaurants in Fairhaven.

Frontera Grill, The Pasta House and Cleary's Pub have all agreed to donate 15 percent of their sales today to Food For Tots. This is happening all day today and all night tonight at all of these Fairhaven restaurants. You will not be expected to present anything to the restaurants or say anything. The restaurants will simply donate 15 percent of your bill to this local cause. The great news is that George Fearons from Oyster Harbors Marine in Marion has agreed to match all of the donations from the restaurants.

The core goal of Food For Tots is to create an extremely easy way for SouthCoast residents to support world-class healthcare LOCALLY for our kids, whether they see doctors at Southcoast Health, at Hawthorne Medical, or a Boston Children's satellite in Dartmouth. We believe that these Boston Children's Hospital doctors should be accessible to all of the children here on the SouthCoast without a day trip to Boston. There are too many families that simply can't afford to bring their children up to Boston to be seen at Children's.
