A Fall River public school is apologizing after a 10 year old boy in a wheelchair was not included onstage with his classmates this week at the school's holiday concert.

On Monday night, the Spencer Borden School in Fall River had their annual holiday concert. During the concert, a young boy in a wheelchair was not included on stage with his classmates.  Instead, he was placed below the stage for the performance despite the fact that the stage has two ramps. The school apologized via Facebook for the events on Monday night and said the staff "will participate in disability awareness and sensitivity training to further [their] commitment to an inclusive learning environment.".

The boys mother, Cidalia Vitorino, told us that she complained to the principal the at the beginning of the performance.  Vitorino says the principal told her that she didn't coordinate the performance and took no action to move the child.

When they park your kid in front of the stage and the rest of the class is on stage. :( I have never been so pissed in my life!
