Fall River is about to get a new Mexican cantina right on the water and we have the details on when it will open.

It's been months since we heard whispers that a new Mexican spot was going to be opening on Ferry Street in Fall River, but it's been a moving target as to when it would open.

We are excited to share Morgan's Cantina now has an opening date.

One of the owners, Nicole Lund, shared with us that Morgan's Cantina is ready to open and welcome patrons for handmade authentic Mexican cuisine and delicious craft cocktails beginning on Friday, March 14.

The owners have been meticulously hiring and training their staff for what can only be described as an experience we won't be able to get anywhere else in the area.

Lund and her family also own Pier 52, which if you have been to, you know they pride themselves on an upscale experience. Morgan's Cantina is sure to align with those standards.

The Morgan's Cantina Facebook page has been posting some delightful teasers of what they have been up to, including a recent tequila training for the staff.

Sounds like such a tough job.

Not only will Morgan's Cantina offer amazing authentic Mexican dishes and craft cocktails but it also promises breathtaking views of the Braga Bridge and Mount Hope Bay.

Outdoor dining may also be in the works for when the weather allows in the coming months.

Hopefully you are as excited as we are about welcoming this absolutely beautiful restaurant to the SouthCoast.
