The Redcoats are on their way, and so is a weekend full of historic fun.

Get ready to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds and excitement of the American Revolution at the Battle of Fall River Reenactment Weekend on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Fall River Heritage State Park.

Presented by the Lafayette-Durfee Historical Foundation in partnership with The City of Fall River, Viva Fall River, and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR), this free, family-friendly event transforms the waterfront into a living history adventure, complete with real battle reenactments, live cannon and musket fire, 18th-century music, and colonial cooking.

What's Happening:

  • Watch live battles between the Redcoats and Colonial militia.
  • Meet costumed reenactors portraying Revolutionary War soldiers and civilians.
  • Try hands-on demos from blacksmiths, tin smiths, chocolatiers, and more.
  • See how colonists lived, cooked, and crafted in the 1700s.
  • Enjoy live music by the Colonial Navy of Massachusetts Fife and Drum Band.
  • Fuel up with food trucks offering everything from tacos to BBQ and ice-cold Kona Ice.
