Fall River Crash Involving SRTA Bus Sends Three to Hospital
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Three people were taken to the hospital Tuesday following a car collision involving an SRTA bus in Fall River.
The incident happened on July 30 at approximately 11:30 a.m. when officers responded to Bedford Street and Seventh Street intersection.
Police said a Ford Excursion had stopped at the stop sign on Seventh Street before attempting to proceed onto Bedford Street. As the driver tried to turn onto Bedford Street, she struck the SRTA bus.
The driver of the Ford and three SRTA passengers were transported to a local medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was also issued a citation for failure to use care while starting.
