Holy cluck!

Fiorentina Italian Kitchen in Fall River has just unveiled a mouthwatering creation that’s sure to turn heads. On Tuesday, October 22 the North Main Street pizzeria introduced the "Fiorentina Fil-A Pizza" to its specials menu for a limited time (as in it's only going to be around for a week).

“Our spin on a favorite chain restaurant’s most loved chicken sandwich, but on a pizza!” Fiorentina proudly shared on Facebook.

This unique pie starts with a base of Chicken Fil-A sauce, which is then topped with juicy chicken tenders, a blend of pizza and pepper jack cheese, pickles, tomatoes and waffle fries.

Baked to perfection, the pizza is then garnished with crisp lettuce and an extra drizzle of the signature sauce.

“They’ve been selling all day, it’s so good,” said Jennifer Silvia, co-owner of Fiorentina Italian Kitchen and the mastermind behind this daring pizza.

Her inspiration? A deep love for her favorite fast food chain.

“I wanted to make something different, and since Chick-fil-A is my favorite food restaurant, it was a no-brainer," she said.

Fiorentina Italian Kitchen, located at 1833 North Main Street, is known for serving up a wide range of Italian dishes with a strong focus on quality and freshness. This cozy, family-friendly restaurant offers standout menu items like pizzas, pasta, subs and seafood.

Its specialty pies, including the Fiorentina Pie (spinach, feta, garlic, and fresh tomato) and creative options like the Buffalo Chourico and Chips pizza, have earned them praise from locals.

In addition to their unique pizzas, Fiorentina is also admired for their community involvement. They feature a "pay it forward" program, allowing customers to pre-pay meals for those in need, adding to the family-oriented spirit that defines the restaurant.

With popular dishes like the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, homemade lasagna, and a variety of wraps and subs, Fiorentina Italian Kitchen continues to push the envelope –and their latest creation, the Fiorentina Fil-A Pizza, is a delicious testament to their creativity.

The Best of South Shore Bar Pizza

There's pizza, and then there's South Shore Bar Pizza. Birthed in Brockton (and to this writer, perfected in Randolph – Lynwood Café is the true G.O.A.T.), it must meet certain qualifications to be considered "SSBP," which include: it's a 10-inch pie; it has a thin, cracker-like crust with minimal "flop;" the cheese is a blend that features more cheddar than mozzarella; and bonus points if you take it home between two carboard-type plates wrapped in flat brown paper bag. They also usually come with "laced" or "burnt" edges (terminology depends on where you are ordering), which is when the sauce and cheese are extended all the way to the edge of the pan, creating a crispy, flavorful coating to the crust. We reached out to the hugely popular South Shore Bar Pizza Social Club Facebook group to ask the experts to share the best of the best (in no particular order).
