Fall River Man Sentenced in Stalking and Witness Intimidation Case
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — A Fall River man was sentenced to up to four years in prison after pleading guilty to stalking and witness intimidation.
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced Angel Pizarro, 44, pleaded guilty on December 19 in Fall River Superior Court to charges of stalking (subsequent offense) and intimidation of a witness.
Pizarro was sentenced to serve three to four years in state prison, followed by two years of probation.
Months-Long Pattern of Threatening Behavior
Between November 1, 2024, and February 23, 2025, Pizarro “willfully and maliciously engaged in a pattern of conduct directed at the victim,” Quinn said. Pizarro repeatedly called, texted and emailed the victim over the two-month period.
Eventually, the victim blocked Pizarro’s number. He then began contacting her through an app and continued to contact her using his own personal email address.

Stalking Continued After Victim Blocked Contact
“Many messages were physically threatening in nature and some suggested that (Pizarro) was following the victim,” the D.A.’s Office said. “(He) would also drive to the victim's house, sit outside in his vehicle, and honk the horn. The victim also observed the defendant following her in his vehicle, during which time he pulled next to the victim and made a gun gesture towards her with his finger.”
Even after the gun gesture, the victim continued receiving threatening messages from Pizarro.
D.A. Quinn's Comments on the Case
"The defendant engaged in a pattern of threatening and harassing conduct that caused the victim to fear for her safety,” Quinn said. “Nobody should have to put up with this very unnerving and threatening behavior. The defendant needs to be kept off the street to protect the victim.”
