Fairhaven’s New Farm2Cup Brings Smoothies, Bowls and Boba
Fairhaven just scored a fresh new spot for smoothies, poke bowls, juices, acai, boba, and all things delicious, and it comes with some familiar faces behind it.
What was once Qing’s Mo Cha Bubble Tea next door to the Fun 107 studio has officially transformed into Farm2Cup, the newest addition to Sconticut Neck Plaza.
Owners Shawn Mello and Abe Agayby, lifelong friends and New Bedford natives, are bringing their health-driven menu to the SouthCoast after years of success at their first location in Raynham. For Mello, this new spot is more than just another storefront. It’s a homecoming.
“I’ve been dying to bring a location here for a long time,” he said. “I live in New Bedford, grew up coming to Fairhaven my whole life. Now my family and friends don’t have to drive to Raynham for a good acai bowl.”
A Menu That Marries Two Worlds
When Mello and Agayby moved into the former bubble tea shop, they faced a big decision: stick strictly to their original menu, or honor what Fairhaven already loved from Qing's. In true community-first fashion, they chose the latter, and merged both concepts.
Now, Farm2Cup offers the full lineup of their signature acai bowls, smoothies, and fresh-pressed juices, plus poke bowls, bubble tea, and even creative combos like boba-infused smoothies upon request. If you want it, they’ll customize it.
Their newest hit is a smoothie that has quickly become the Fairhaven favorite.
“The Dirtier Smoothie is No. 1. It’s our bread and butter,” Mello said. “Espresso, peanut butter, banana, honey, chocolate. It’s an amazing morning starter.”

The menu doesn’t stop there. They’ve added paninis, wraps, sandwiches, and more for easy lunch or dinner grabs.
Dessert, Nostalgia & Kid-Friendly Vibes
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, Farm2Cup keeps it simple and satisfying: cheesecake, brownies, macarons, and the crowd-pleasing mochi ice cream the previous owners were known for. At just $2 a pop, Mello said they fly out the door daily.
And parents, this might be your new favorite place.
While you wait for your order, kids can hang out and play on the arcade machines Mello added the moment he noticed neighborhood kids biking over to check out the shop. Pac-Man, racing games, classic arcade games – the nostalgia alone is worth a visit.
Hours & What’s Next
Right now, Farm2Cup is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., but earlier hours may be on the way.
“Our Raynham spot opens at 8 (a.m.), so if we see the demand here in Fairhaven, we’re looking at 9 (a.m.) to 6 (p.m.),” Mello said.
A Local Business Built on Local Roots
Even with two locations and a rapidly growing following, Mello kept coming back to one message: community.
“Support local businesses. That’s how we all grow,” he said. He and Agayby have been best friends for 15 years and grew up in New Bedford. Opening in Fairhaven feels like the perfect next chapter.
“Just come check us out. We’re excited to be here," he said.
