There will be a new bar to hang out in this summer in Buzzard's Bay. Eastwind Seafoods is putting the finishing touches on a gorgeous new bar inside their already popular seafood restaurant.

Owner Craig Moore tells Fun 107 that he expects the new bar to be a fun, yet relaxing place to hang out and that contractors will be wrapping up construction of the bar as soon as next week.

Eastwind Seafoods also announced that they have revamped their menu just a bit to accommodate those who might not enjoy seafood.

"We'll get a party of 8 or 10 in the restaurant, and there is always someone who doesn't care for seafood," Moore said. "We're now happy to be able to offer those people some land specialties like steak tips, chicken parmigiana, and chicken and broccoli alfredo."

During our visit last weekend, we started off with the Irish Nachos. The chips seemed homemade and were a lighter potato chip, as opposed to your normal tortilla. We all dug into the nachos and loved them.

There's no denying, though, that seafood is the main attraction at Eastwind. I tried the surf and turf special with baked stuffed shrimp and some surprisingly tender steak tips. My wife got the fried scallop plate, which featured new steak style french fries that were incredible. Christine Fox also stuck to the basics with a fish and chips, and her husband loved the baked stuffed scallops.
