After eight years in business, the piano singing, crowd interacting social bar will be closing its Providence location.

It is with great sadness that we are reporting the permanent closing of Point Street Dueling Pianos, located in Providence, Rhode Island.

After eight years, a spokesperson for the boisterous, brick-lined piano bar located at 3 Davol Square in Providence notified the public via Facebook that we would be saying goodbye to Rhode Island's only rock 'n roll dueling piano bar.

For those of you who love the little staple, be sure to visit their other location in Boston, D's Keys Dueling Pianos & Sing Along Bar. If you've never been to a dueling piano lounge before, I can assure you that the drive up to Beantown will be well worth it. They've got live music, cocktails, and are sure to give you plenty of laughs similar to its now-closed sister location. Reservations are never needed, and with a $5 cover fee on a Friday night, how can you go wrong?
