Dog and Beer Lovers Will Love Viva Fall River’s ‘Barks & Brews’ Pop-Up

Name a better duo than dogs and beer. I'll wait.

This one's for the dog lovers and beer connoisseurs of the world who are looking for a free fun day at a brewery with their favorite four-legged friends.

On Thursday, Aug. 17, 5 to 8 p.m., Viva Maker Shop will host Barks & Brews, a summer "pup-up" event at 333 Main St. in Fall River.

Your pup will be spoiled with treats and “dog beer” sold by Bristol-based WOOF! WOOF! Pet Boutique and Biscuit Bar. Not to worry, the beer is safe for our furry pals to consume.

Faneek’s Hot Dogs will be on site serving signature hot dogs and other local favorites for us humans, while also providing some dog-friendly snacks for the dogs.

You'll also be able to find Canned Heat Craft Beer Co. set up on the back patio with craft beer samples and merchandise for anyone 21 and older. Admission si free but drinks, food and merchandise will be available for purchase.

Viva Maker Shop will also be open during the event to allow guests to browse unique items from more than 60 local artists.

Viva Fall River Maker Shop is open in the summer on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.
