Let's be honest, parents, there have been so many dinosaur events coming through our area lately that we've lost count. Yet the event happening on Boston's waterfront stands out from all the other dino happenings because it is completely free.

You read that right. Boston's outdoor space, The Lawn on D, will be the site of Prehistoric Safari on D on Saturday June 11. The event is part of the Signature Series sponsored by the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and everything will be free for all ages.

Prehistoric Safari on D will be the kick-off to the 2022 Signature Series at the event space and according to their website will feature pretty much everything kids love all in one place: inflatables, magicians, face painting, puppeteers and life-size dinosaurs, including a 23-foot animated T-Rex, which I'm sure would blow my dino-loving kids' minds.

If you've ever been to The Lawn on D before, then you know the space is pretty awesome. There are concessions, cornhole and those light-up swings everyone loves to take selfies on. As if all that wasn't enough, there's going to be live music all day and the cornhole setup will be used for a tournament with prizes for different age groups.

It all adds up to a day of free fun in Boston with dinosaurs. What's not to love about that? No tickets are needed for Prehistoric Safari on D and everything kicks off at noon.
