Elves Spread Cheer in Padanaram Village with Holiday Lights
The holiday season is here. For some, it came a little too early, but you can't help but smile when you see grown men dressed up in Elf costumes spreading holiday cheer.
There are two types of people: those who are dead set on not decorating for the holiday until after Thanksgiving, and those that were ready the day after Halloween (or maybe even before).
With Thanksgiving landing later in the month, that means a smaller window of time between the two big holidays of the season. Many people want to get the most out of their festive decorations by getting them up early.

This past weekend, several of "Santa's Elves" got out and decorated the adorable corner of the SouthCoast we know as Padanaram Village.
It may have just been a cute marketing stunt, but regardless, it got the attention of many, including myself. The men of Elf Lighting and Stonegate Mortgage went all out on holiday decorations and lighting for an upcoming event that is sure to kick off the holiday season and possibly trip some fuses. Kudos to Tom Quann and the StoneGate Mortgage crew, who contribute $42,000 annually for this amazing holiday stroll in the village.
Just check out all the fun they had decorating:
What to Expect at Padanaram Village’s Elf Lighting Event
Coming up on Sunday, November 23, the elves, along with several community partners, will Light Up Padanaram Village. The night includes flipping the switch on all the lights and holiday cheer. The event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the official lighting happening just after sunset.
Live Music by The Punk Cellist: A Festive Touch to the Celebration
They'll even provide the perfect soundtrack to the season with live music from The Punk Cellist.
If you are finding it a little challenging to get into the holiday spirit, you may want to plan on dropping into the village for some holiday fun, and maybe even get some shopping in.
