Ok, so we'll have to wait until September to find out, but the field has been narrowed down as the nominees for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced last week.

The Nominations Are In
Among the nominees are record-breakers like Ayo Edebiri, who made history with her nominations, as well as talent both on and off-screen such as producers, writers, directors, etc.
The talent pool is full of famous faces who have racked up many a nomination and award over the years. However, some of Hollywood's finest are being recognized for the first time.
SouthCoast Star Gets First Emmy Nod
Milton, Massachusetts native Jenny Slate received her first Emmy nomination for her role as Nikki Boyer in Hulu's Dying For Sex.

Slate has a long list of IMDB credits including Parks and Recreation, Saturday Night Live and It Ends With Us, as well as many animated projects like Bob's Burgers, The Secret Life Of Pets and Marcel the Shell With Shoes On.
While her resume can now include "Emmy nominee," the Bay State native and current Dartmouth resident will have to wait to see if she can change that from "nominee" to "winner."
