Dartmouth Man Brings Nightmares to Life the Haunted Trail in East Providence
Nightmares come to life at The Haunted Trail in East Providence.
The spooky season is here and Harrison Ingham is busy putting together a frightful display that will have guests running for the exit signs.
After a successful first season, the Haunted Trail returns, and Ingham has pulled out all the stops for another Dark New England production.
Harrison Ingham and Dark New England
Harrison Ingham’s love for Halloween started as a kid when he and his dad would decorate their driveway every year. Their display soon took over the property, and when Ingham grew up, his love for Halloween never faded.
He created Dark New England, a forum to keep people in the know about haunts around town, and it grew into a landing page for the best haunted attractions in the region.
As an adult, his home became known for extravagant Halloween displays, and “The Haunted Yard” was a popular destination for Dartmouth residents.
Last year, Ingham elevated the haunt and brought The Haunted Trail to life behind the Brightridge Club in East Providence.
People couldn’t get enough of the terrifying walk-thru and Ingham is excited to elevate the haunt another step further for the 2024 season.

What to Expect at the Haunted Trail
Remember the Lakeville Haunted House? Ingham acquired some original pieces from the Lakeville house and it will be on full display when you arrive.
Guests in line will enjoy a laser light display that will pierce through an eerie fog, and those brave enough to enter will experience an even longer trail than last year.
A new VIP option will offer a new and unique aspect, too.
“There will be a couple of scenes that only VIP can experience,” said Ingham. “The church, for example, you’ll be able to sit down and the characters will give you a very personal experience.”
Ingham didn’t want to give too much away, but this haunt is definitely not for the faint of heart.
Opening Day lands on October 4th and the season goes until the Lights Out event on November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
“I’m really excited to see the reactions come through, especially the ones who have seen it last year or even my yard,” said Ingham. “The changes are huge and we’ve come a long way since that backyard haunt.”
Ingham and his crew have been hard at work all year, and he was quick to acknowledge his staff for the success of Haunted Trail.
“I can’t do any of this without all of these people behind me,” he said. “I’m only one man, and we’re not just a little yard display anymore.”
If you’re ready to get scared, get ready for The Haunted Trail, opening October 4th.
