
Dartmouth ALDI Opening Means I Can Share My Favorite Hacks
Don't get me wrong: That feeling of coming home with bags full of groceries and unloading them until your fridge and pantry are fully-stocked is unmatched. But the feeling of navigating a new grocery store? That feeling is stressful and overwhelming.
After living in four different cities in three different states throughout the past three years of my life, it's safe to say I have some experience showing up to a new grocery store and grinning and bearing that uncomfortable feeling of not knowing where anything is and thinking I'm paying way more for my food than I should be.
Many Dartmouth residents, and SouthCoast residents from surrounding towns who don't mind making the trip to Dartmouth for their grocery shopping, have been eagerly awaiting the brand-new, German-owned supermarket chain being built at the Dartmouth Mall. And finally, after months of construction and patience from the public, the new ALDI location is set to open on September 23 at 9 a.m., just after the morning ribbon-cutting ceremony.
"ALDI is one of America’s fastest-growing retailers because we offer a convenient shopping experience for affordable, on-trend and sustainable goods," Aldi's South Windsor regional vice president Chris Daniels said in a press release. "We have served this community for more than two years and look forward to continuing to offer Dartmouth residents high-quality, fresh foods and low prices in every ALDI aisle, every day."
