Cumberland, the Rhode Island non-profit fair, will be returning for it's 25th year on August 7th, 8th and 9th.

The Cumberland Country Fest will be hosted at Diamond Hill Park in Rhode Island and will include many activities and local performers.  On August 8th, there will be a 5k road race and performers such as Studio Two, the Beatles tribute band and bands such as Fake Mayors and Cat Has Claws. On Sunday there will be musicians from 3:30 to 9:00, you an catch performances by Thirty 6 Red and Darren Bessette Band. The fair also has a craft fair, bingo, fireworks, league wrestling and rock wall climbing.

Cumberlandfest was originally started to raise money for youth sports in Cumberland. The founders of the fair realized there were many people in the community with the same mission and decided to work together.  In the process, organizers  created a popular Cumberland festival that has lasted 25 years. They also have given youth sports groups in town about $1.5 million dollars since 1991 and welcomed as many as 250,000 visitors to Diamond Hill Park.
