
Cocaine Seized, New Bedford Man Arrested in South End Raid
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police conduct a raid and seize more than 19 grams of cocaine from a South End apartment.
Following an investigation into a cocaine distribution service, members of the New Bedford Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant just after 7 p.m. on Thursday at 10 McGurk Street, Apartment 2S.
At the address, police found the subject of the warrant, Jesus Jimenez-Lopez, 25, of the McGurk Street address, in a vehicle.
Police searched the home and discovered over 19 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials, and more than $300 in cash.
Jimenez-Lopez was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and trafficking in more than 18 grams of cocaine.
