Fans of Clopper the donkey, your prayers have been answered!  A holiday tradition for many people on the Southcoast is bringing the family to Our Lady Of La Salette Shrine in Attleboro.

Last Christmas, Clopper was removed from the nativity scene at the shrine due to concerns about him being out in the cold.

This year, after a petition was formed to bring him back, Brother Ron is assuring visitors that the donkey is being taken care of properly and is ready for your family to go and visit him.

This is the 64th season that the shrine has been decorated for the holidays.  Last night, La Salette's lights were turned on for the first time this year.  If you've never been - you'll want to check out the 500,000+ lights that are on display.  Hours are from 5pm to 9pm now through New Year's Day.

According to their website, traffic can get very heavy on weekends, especially Saturday night.  If you can plan your trip for a weeknight, you might have an easier time getting in.  Admission is free, but donations can be made to support the shrine.  Also they have the best hot cocoa on the planet!
