Christmas Lights Debate [POLL]

It's Christmas time and the decorations are going up all over the Southcoast. But what kind of lights are you putting up this year?

I was over my mother's house this weekend to help her get the lights on her tree (I'm obsessed with perfectly lite Christmas trees) and we started the debate over what kind of lights to put up.

I gave her a hard time about colored lights telling her I felt plain, white lights were a much more "classic" look.

She then informed me that no, white lights were a more modern Christmas decoration and colored lights are what the Christmas trees always had when she was growing up.

Considering she has celebrated more Christmases than I have, I couldn't really argue with her, but it did make me wonder what more people use.

So take our poll...are you for colored lights at Christmas or just simple white lights?
