Christine’s Wednesday Entertainment Update
Some would agree and some might not, but John Legend is in fact People magazine's 2019 Sexiest Man Alive.
John Legend is joining men like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Chris Hemsworth and Matthew McConaughey as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. The announcement was made last night by non other than Blake Shelton who judges alongside John on The Voice.
This came much to the excitement of John's wife, Chrissy Teigen, who tweeted her joy to have had an experience or two with this year's winner. John married Chrissy in 2013 and they have two children together, Miles and Luna.
After nearly 50 years on the air, could the last days of Days of Our Lives be upon us?
The producers released the entire cast from their contracts and announced the show will be put on indefinite hiatus at the end of the month. By then, the series will apparently have enough shows "in the can" to last through summer 2020, noting Days hasn't been cancelled – yet.
NBC and Sony Pictures Television produce Days of Our Lives with Corday Productions, which TVLine was told is responsible for the salary situation: "If Days gets picked up, [Corday] can offer the actors new contacts at a reduced rate and with a 'take-it-or-leave' it attitude. Worst case scenario, they lose half their cast. Best case scenario (for Corday Productions would be) everyone agrees to return at a lower salary."
Days of Our Lives debuted on NBC in 1965, and is one of the few remaining daytime soaps on the air.
And lastly, Camila Cabello released upcoming concert dates earlier today and she'll be in Boston on September 11, 2020. Tickets for this show will go on sale November 21 at 10 a.m. and they WILL sell out, guaranteed. Speaking of my girl Camila, her honey Shawn Mendes is featured in the new version of Taylor Swift's song "Lover" and it is GOOD. Real good. Check it out here"
