It's said over and over again, but we are without a doubt living through the Golden Age of Boston sports. You could live five lives and never see anything like this happen in a sports town again.

As often as we talk about how "special" this era of Boston sports is, we need to keep bringing it up because amazing things keep happening. Here's the latest statistic that has been going around this week: the home winning streaks.

Here is a list of the last time these Boston teams lost a game at home:

Boston Red Sox: September 28, 2019. Clearly the least impressive of the bunch, but hey, someone had to own the latest home loss. This time around it was the less-than-glamourous Red Sox.

Boston Bruins: June 12, 2019. As the snow melts, think back to what you were doing on June 12th of this year. The summer hadn't even started yet. SouthCoast high schools were making final plans for proms and graduations. If you're over 25, you probably hadn't heard of Billie Eilish yet.

Boston Celtics: May 6, 2019. It was the week before Mother's Day. We had just finished up Lemonade Day across the SouthCoast. Fun 107 had just launched our Drive Safe Soco campaign discouraging teen drivers from driving distracted.

New England Patriots: October 1, 2017. Here's a stat that will blow your mind: the Patriots haven't lost a home game in over two years. According to the Patriots, the Patriots have won 18 consecutive regular-season home games. That's 21 straight home wins if you count the playoffs. Even more incredibly, the Patriots have now done this twice in the Brady/Belichick era. The Patriots are the only team with two 20-game home winning streaks, including the postseason. They've also won 10 games for the 17th straight year. This means there are college students with no working memory of a Patriots team winning less than 10 games in a season.
