Bruce Willis To Make Broadway Debut
Bruce Willis on Broadway will be Misery...literally!
An adaption of Stephen King's Misery is being brought to the Great White Way and Bruce Willis is set to star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures is behind the Broadway adaption and Willis along with stage veteran Elizabeth Marvel are set to star.
This means Bruce will be taking on the iconic role of romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who James Caan played on the big screen and Marvel must channel the delightfully creepy Annie Wilkes, famously brought to life by Kathy Bates.
The play is scheduled for a limited run this fall at a theater to be announced.
It will be Willis' first time to the stage since being cast as Ed Harris' understudy in the 1983 off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love.
