Boston Train Service to Gillette for Upcoming Concert
Heading to Gillette Stadium for a concert can be pretty stressful and expensive by car, so why not take advantage of our new train service?
The last time you made your way to Gillette Stadium, you probably found yourself waiting in a line to get into one of the many parking lots around the stadium, all varying in prices from $50 to over a $100. Add that to the crazy price of concert tickets themselves and going to a show can literally cost you an arm and a leg.
Now that we have the MBTA coming right to our backyard, you may want to explore taking the train to Gillette.
The MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis are currently offering roundtrip special event service from South Station and stop at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate center before arriving at their Foxboro station just steps away from the stadium.
The tickets will be $20 roundtrip. The special event trains are on a schedule that will get you to the concert about 90 minutes prior to the start and will depart 30 minutes after the concert ends to ensure connections for final trains out of South Station. These event tickets can only be purchased via the mTicket App.

Will all the recent hiccups the SouthCoast service has been having, let's hope this service provides a much-needed reprieve in traffic going to and from the stadium.
Before you purchase one of these tickets, make sure to take a look at the schedule.
