New England Casting Call Targets Revolutionary Reenactors
Calling all actors, this is an opportunity you do not want to miss!
Slate Casting is casting for revolutionary reenactors to appear in an upcoming commercial filmed in the Boston area.
"Slate Casting is based in Boston and we do lots of work in the Boston Area as well as nationwide," Slate Owner/Casting Director Ashley Skomurski said.
Who They’re Looking For
Not much is being disclosed about the content of the commercial or what it's for exactly, but the casting call does share that this non-union project is asking for reenactors ages 18 and older. Potential actors must be local to New England.

So are they searching for an authentic New England accent or are they simply looking to avoid any travel costs? Nevertheless, I'm leaning towards a possible America 250 commercial. The timing is perfect and the area is chock-full of historic locations.

Possible Filming Locations in Boston
Here are just a few of the sights that would make for ideal filming locations in and around the Boston area:
- Bunker Hill Monument
- Freedom Trail
- Faneuil Hall
- Old North Church
- Lexington Battle Green
- Old North Bridge
Plus, there's an abundance of streets with old lamp posts and cobblestone that make for a revolutionary-style backdrop.
