Boston Makes Top 10 for Popular Pastry Destinations
A sweet treat is a must for many when visiting Beantown. If you think your cannoli and cupcake is the best, you're right.
Food & Wine released its list of top cities across the country to enjoy a delicious pastry and Boston is among them. The popular site gathers feedback from over 400 chefs, travel experts and more from around the world.
"We then turned the results over to our Global Advisory Board, who ranked the top nominees in each category," Food & Wine wrote. The best part is, some of the best sweet treats are just a car (or train) ride away.

Boston's North End has long been a destination for foodies. Locals and tourists frequent Mike's Pastry, a bakery that's been around since 1946. Biscotti anyone? It's one of the many that are featured in the city's recognition.
Other noteworthy items include the sticky buns at Flour Bakery, almond croissants at Michette, Modern Pastry and the many Portuguese bakeries in the area.
The city seems to top the charts in many areas. From food to fun, Boston has made many a list recently.
