Boston’s Fenway Park Ranks Among Top 5 for Best Ballparks
We're just one week away from Opening Day at Fenway Park.
The freshly painted lines, the smell of the sausage carts outside the stadium and the seventh inning stretch. We cannot wait!
On your next trip to the Boston landmark, take a look around and soak in one of the best ballparks in the nation. Growing up a Red Sox fan, I may be a little biased, but I'm not the only one who thinks Fenway is iconic.
The Best Ballparks in the Country
Sports Illustrated has released a list of MLB's Best Ballparks, highlighting the beauty and enjoyment of the homes of your favorite teams.
Fenway Park made the list, taking the No. 4 spot. The SI article notes signature features like the Green Monster, Ted Williams' red seat and Pesky's Pole.
Fenway Park opened its doors on April 20, 1912 making it the oldest ballpark in America. From their games to concerts and special events, the park has played host to some of the best athletes, musicians and more over the years.
