Two Southcoast schools received bomb threats Monday morning.

A threat was phoned in targeting the Chace Elementary School in Somerset shortly before 9:30 a.m.

The school was evacuated while a sweep of the building was conducted.

School officials say nothing was found and classes resumed.

Another threat was then phoned in shortly before 10 a.m. targeting the Matthew J. Kuss Middle School in Fall River.

Fall River Police say the threat was deemed non-credible.

The Commonwealth Fusion Center says there were roughly a dozen schools targeted across the state.
