Boaters Save Man Who Jumped From Fall River Bridge
FALL RIVER - A man is alive after jumping from a Fall River Bridge on Sunday.
Massachusetts State Police confirm that an unidentified man parked his vehicle on the Veterans Memorial Bridge at around 1:45 p.m. Sunday and jumped from a height of over 60 feet into the Taunton River below.
State Police say the man survived the fall and was rescued by nearby recreational boaters.
The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for observation.
