New Bedford Man Goes Viral for Car Dedicated to Bluey
Bluey has captured the hearts of millions since its debut in 2018.
How popular is the TV show? I don’t even have kids, and I know about Bluey.
It’s safe to say the character Bluey has brought families together, but one New Bedford father has gone above and beyond for his Bluey-loving children.
You’ll never believe what he did to his Audi, just to make his kids smile.
A member of the Adult Bluey Fans page on Facebook put fans on notice when they uploaded a picture of the “Bluey Mobile”.
An Audi TT painted orange and blue with a white pinstripe down the middle and a giant ‘Bluey’ sticker on the windshield.
“Here Come the Grannies” is proudly displayed underneath the Massachusetts license plate, referencing the show's catchy jingle.
So, who is the ultimate Bluey fan driving around New Bedford?
Carlos Acosta Junior stepped forward in the comments.

“I’m glad everyone is enjoying my car,” he said. “My kids inspired me to build it.”
WBSM’s Tim Weisberg has spotted the vehicle several times on Ashley Boulevard and other Bluey fans online were quick to share their sightings of the unique ride.
“We see that car all the time, my son gets so stoked!” said Brooklynn Belanger.
“I was wondering who owned this car in my neighborhood that’s awesome,” said Brian Keyes.
“My son calls it out every time we see you driving around NB, he loves it,” said Sean Medeiros.
Carlos Acosta Junior may have done it for his kids, but he’s spreading joy throughout Massachusetts with his Bluey-inspired ride.
