The SouthCoast has some pretty amazing cuisine, but this dining experience coming to Boston might just be worth the trip up north.

Dining in the Dark is a unique tasting experience making its mark in the Bay State next month, and it's exactly what it sounds like. You'll show up to a secret location that's only emailed to you after registration, order from a secret menu, and enjoy your meal behind the dark shroud of a blindfold.

Don't worry: Allergies and dietary restrictions can be taken into account, but the only other say diners will have in their food is by choosing their color - green, blue or red - that corresponds with the type of meal they'd like to enjoy: vegan, seafood or meat, respectively.

Are you brave enough to take on the Dining in the Dark experience?

Tickets are now on sale for the event, which is available every Wednesday in May with two time slots per night at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $90 a pop, but with a starter, main course and dessert all included, plus the stories you'll be able to tell afterward, it might just be worth the investment!
