
Boston Bruins Mascot Blades Visiting New Bedford Library
Calling all Boston Bruins fans! It may be the off-season, but something special is coming to New Bedford.
Blades, the beloved mascot of the Boston Bruins, is making a special appearance at Wilks Library at 1911 Acushnet Avenue on Tuesday, August 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
What to Expect
Families and fans of all ages are invited to come out for an hour of stories, trivia, games and plenty of photo ops with the big bear himself.
Whether you're a die-hard hockey fan or just looking for a fun and free way to entertain the kids, this interactive event promises excitement and plenty of smiles. Kids will have the chance to hear a story, test their Bruins knowledge with trivia, enjoy interactive games, and meet and take photos with Blades.
How to Register (For Free, Of Course)
Thanks to the City of New Bedford, this event is free, but space may be limited. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance by calling the library at (508) 991-6214.
This event is made possible through the support of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, the Massachusetts Library System and the Boston Bruins.
