Bill Murray Spotted in Fall River This Past Weekend

Another weekend on the SouthCoast, another celebrity sighting.

Whether they are here for summer vacations or hanging on film sets, it seems like there have been a lot of celebrity sightings around the SouthCoast recently.

Last weekend, both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were spotted out and about and this weekend Bill Murray and Peter Farrelly were local.

Though it was the folks at Somerset Cruise and Travel that shared the news, the comedian and director were actually at Patti's Pierogi's on South Main Street in Fall River on Saturday. And they posed for a picture with the very excited owner.

Peter Farrelly did grow up in Rhode Island, so he's probably been around Fall River and some tasty pierogis more than once in his life.

But I think it's safe to assume he wasn't just taking Bill Murray on a tour of his old stomping grounds. Murray is familiar with the area, though. Remember the time he gave a shout out to the guys at the Maaco in New Bedford on Late Show with David Letterman?

Perhaps there is a new Farrelly Brothers film in the works and Murray is going to star?

Maybe they were out and about on the SouthCoast scouting locations for the possible film?

Of course, the brothers haven't made a movie together since 2014 and only Peter was in Fall River. So if there is another movie coming it might be safe to assume that only one Farrelly brother is directing this one.

This is all just speculation from my overactive imagination, though, based on one awesome photo of the latest celebs to spend time on the SouthCoast.
