Bill Belichick’s Daughter Was Married at This Rhode Island Inn

We heard a lot about Bill Belichick's two sons during his 24 years as coach of the New England Patriots, but perhaps you were unaware that the former "head hoodie" also has a daughter.

Amanda Belichick, born in 1984 in Weston, Massachusetts, is in her ninth year as head coach of the women's lacrosse program at Holy Cross in Worcester. In 2018, she helped the Crusaders reach the postseason for the first time since 2015.

From 2014 to 2015, Amanda Belichick served as the head coach at Wesleyan University. Before that, she coached at Ohio State University, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Connecticut's Choate Rosemary Hall.

Amanda Belichick played lacrosse at Wesleyan University, from which she graduated in 2007.

Amanda's parents, Bill and Debby Clark Belichick, divorced in 2006. The couple had three children: Amanda, the oldest, and brothers Stephen and Brian, who have coached for the New England Patriots.

In a 2017 interview with CBS News Boston, Amanda said of the family business, "It's a tough grueling job, long hours, it's hard work, it's not traditional, but it's really rewarding."

In the summer of 2017, Amanda Belichick and AJ DeSantis were married at the Weekapaug Inn in Westerly, Rhode Island. The couple met online in 2014.

The Weekapaug Inn at 25 Spray Rock Road was built in 1899 by Frederick and Phebe Buffem. The Inn was destroyed in the 1938 hurricane and rebuilt the following year. The inn has 33 guest rooms including four two-bedroom signature suites.

In a June 22, 2018 article, the newlywed bride told Jill Person Photography, "All of our friends and family staying together was something that I really wanted." She said, "We wanted a New England spot that we could go back to and that would become a special place for us."

The beautiful Weekapaug Inn dates back to 1899.
