Farming Tulips in Massachusetts
"Farming is truly a labor of love. It takes dedication, hard work, and patience throughout the year to make it all come together for spring, but nothing compares to the joy of seeing our tulip fields come to life and welcoming visitors to share in that beauty," said Derek Nedell, Manager of Golden Hour Farms.
The farm offers a unique experience for visitors to enjoy.
Pick-Your-Own Bouquet of Tulips
"We are proud to offer one of Massachusetts' rare U-Pick tulip experiences, making it an unforgettable springtime destination for families, friends, and tulip lovers alike," Nedell said.
The season begins in mid-April, with no exact date because it's all weather dependent. The farm is very close to opening for the season, so keep checking the Golden Hour Tulips website for just the right moment.
The picking season will run until the blooms fade. A short season, but a magical one nonetheless.

Stroll Through the Fields
Over 300,000 tulips bloom each year ranging in color as over 40 varieties come together for an Insta-worthy backdrop.
"Hearing kind feedback from guests, seeing children grow year after year, and watching families bring their grandparents – all of these moments make the effort worthwhile. I especially cherish the connections across generations; grandparents always hold a special place for me," Nedell said.
