Halloween is for Dogs, Too, Thanks to ‘Barktoberfest’ Coming to Kingston Collection
Halloween isn’t just for kids. At the new JB’s Indoor Dog Park in Kingston, Halloween is going to the dogs for their third annual Barktoberfest on Sunday, October 23rd from 1 pm to 4 pm.
JB’s Indoor Dog Park has had a home in Norwell since 2019, and Jackie and Kevin Brady decided to expand with a second location in Kingston Collection that opened in September of this year.
For the past three years, the Brady’s have hosted Barktoberfest, and they are excited to continue that tradition at their new location in Kingston.
Kevin Brady, the son of Jackie and Kevin and manager of the Kingston location, looks forward to seeing dogs dressed in their Halloween best.
“There will be a DJ, food, drinks, a costume contest, trick contests, and a doggy parade at the end,” he said. “It will be the first indoor Barktoberfest due to inclement weather, so dogs and their owners will be taking over the Kingston Mall for an afternoon of tail wagging and treats.
Brady explained how Barktoberfest is a great way to socialize with like-minded people and test out JB’s facilities.
“It’s a great way for dogs to socialize and we hope for a lot of dogs to come and have fun, and have a fun Halloween.”
While Barktoberfest is all about the four-legged pals, the owners get some perks as well with a pop-up beer garden, local vendors, and food.
All friendly dogs are welcome to show off their best costumes and check out all that JB’s Indoor Dog Park has to offer.
All there is left to do is find an outfit.
