The Canadian singer is doing her part to help fight COVID-19 and re-releasing and renaming her "Warrior" track.

I think it was the summer of 2003 where I remember driving to Horseneck Beach with the sunroof open, blaring "Complicated" and screaming every word.

Avril Lavigne has had her share of tough times and the original song "Warrior" was an empowerment track she wrote and released back in 2019. But now during the coronavirus pandemic, she felt the need to do something that would help our healthcare workers.

'I felt the need to do something to honor all of the front line workers who risk their lives every day to keep us safe," Avril said. "From the doctors, nurses, police, firefighters, grocery workers, delivery services, all essential workers and the brave volunteers."

Proceeds from the sales of "We Are Warriors" will go to the Project Hope COVID-19 efforts.

So you haven't heard the remake yet? Well, take a listen below:

Pretty empowering song. She has such a passionate following so hopefully this song helps.

What do you think? Is Avril's remake an empowering song that gives you inspiration? It's no 'Sk8er Boi" but definitely shows how Avril has grown over the years.

What do you think, is "We Are Warriors" wicked good or totally whack?
