ATTLEBORO (WBSM) — A group home van with 11 passengers was involved in a crash with another vehicle on an Attleboro highway this morning.

According to the Attleboro Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to Interstate 95 North for a two-vehicle crash at about 9:21 a.m.

Crews arrived to find minor damage to the group home van, which was carrying seven residents and four staff members at the time of the crash. Firefighters did not identify which group home they were from.

Injuries and Hospital Transport Policy

The eleven people who were in the van were evaluated at the scene. All reported minor injuries or no injuries at all, but the fire department said group home policy requires all occupants to be transported to the hospital for evaluation following a crash. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

Attleboro Crash Investigation Underway

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
