Retailers in the state are quite happy about a deal reached between online seller Amazon.com and the state that has Amazon collecting the 6.25 percent sales tax from Bay State residents who order items through the website.   Store owners in the state have been arguing that Amazon shoppers were saving the sales tax, a deal they could not match.   Under the agreement announced Tuesday, Amazon will begin collecting the Massachusetts sales tax on November 1st of next year.
