A Third Acushnet Creamery Location Coming Soon

Looks like Acushnet Creamery ice cream is expanding across the Southcoast.

The Ice Cream shop began its journey on Main Street in Acushnet, took over the Dockside in South Dartmouth, distributed to multiple mobile locations (such as Dicky's Clam Shack on State Road in Dartmouth) and is now making itself home in New Bedford.

According to Acushnet Creamery's Facebook page, they will be opening their third location on Pier 3 at the bottom of Downtown, New Bedford. This waterfront business will save locals from the city a trip to Acushnet or the Padanaram area.

As to the exact whereabouts on the State Pier, Acushnet Creamery tells us that they will be located next door to the Black Whale (to give you an idea) where the old location of Dorothy Cox used to be (a small shack by the lot entrance).

The storefront will have a majority of your favorite flavors and yes... there will be waffle cones on site.
