This is going to be one of the best things you'll see this year, never mind just on Halloween.

Halloween has come and gone and it's always fun to scroll social media to see all of the fun costumes from the night before. So that's exactly what I did this morning. This post from Leslie Hodges in Annapolis, Maryland stopped me dead in my tracks. I've watched this video at least a dozen times and can't get over the generosity of this young boy.

Leslie posted this on her Facebook page and said, "Caught this on our Nest camera.... this has got to give hope to everyone that there are still amazing people in this world. What a selfless act from this little guy! ❤️ Kudos to his parents!!! Kevin Hodges #imnotcrying"

Usually, you'd see a kid this boys age approach a house with a bowl and nothing in it and he might just look away and then walk off to the next house to get more candy. Some kids this boys age might even be visibly angry about no candy being left in the bowl.

But not this kid. It took him only a couple of seconds to do what he did. He took handfuls of trick-or-treat candy out of his own bag and put them into the empty bowl that had none left. I mean, are you kidding me? This is one of the most selfless things I've seen all year. I just can't get over it.

I imagine that he comes from a very happy home. His parents must be loving and generous themselves in order for this little boy to be as considerate, thoughtful and as giving as he is in this video. What a sweet kid.💙
