A Famous Red Sox Player is Playing on the Cape

If you are missing your Red Sox players from not so long ago, you can get your fix in July during a celebrity softball game happening on the Cape.

Red Sox catcher and team captain Jason Varitek will play in the Cape Cod Celebrity All-Star Softball Game in July.

In an article on capecodtimes.com, the fundraising game is on July 21 at McKeon Park in Hyannis.   It aligns with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s All-Star Weekend and will feature former New England Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak and TV personality Chris Lambton.

By the way, the kids clinic is $25 and includes admission to the celebrity softball game. This is definitely going to be a fun family night out and what better spot than Cape Cod for a summer baseball game with the kids!  Get your tickets here.
